I was interested in a career as a wedding planner, and I was wondering what the salary is, and exactly what a wedding planner does to organize a wedding?

try to find another wedding planner in your area that you can "shadow" to learn the ropes. this will help you learn the basics of the biz and also make contacts with the vendors you may be working with later.
this person/company may also be interested in a partner later on or could serve as a reference for you later

i know u can take classes on how to be a wedding planner at community colleges, not sure about the salary but i would say it varies. if ur really good then of course you can charge more for your talent…but starting out im sure you’ll need to keep your current job as well….
